Badges

Would you like to add a badge for the IC Knowledge Center onto your website? Find the l badges link at the bottom of the page on the ICKC. You can choose the size and, if you wish, change the colors. Then embed the code on your site. There are options to automatically put it on Facebook or MySpace
Invite a Friend

I just played around with the Invite a Friend functionality. I discovered that the link to the ICKC in the automatic message is a huge "Join" button that immediately takes someone to a page that asks for their personal information. So I get around that by using this text in my invite:

Wanted to let you know about this new conversation on management in the knowledge era.

Click www.ICKnowledgeCenter.com to check it out or click below to join.

Notes:
>The URL automatically becomes a link.
>Your message cannot exceed 200 characters so keep it short!

Of course, you can always send a normal email and just tell your friend about the site!
Reply to This

We are generating some spirited discussions, often with thoughtful answers. We hope you will join in the discussions too...by clicking the "Reply to This" hotlink that is along the left margin.

...We point this out because there are two choices for chiming in and where you click will make a big difference in how your reply is displayed.

If you click on the Reply to This hotlink that is aligned along the left margin, your reply will be displayed alone.

If you click on the Reply to This hotlink that is indented under a prior comment, your reply will be displayed with the entire prior comment indented below. Using this choice leads to a lot of repetition of the same text under each subsequent comment.

So, in general, please click the Reply to This hotlink that is aligned along the left margin. If you want to refer to someone's comments, just name them in your reply.
Groups

We have the ability to create Groups in the community.

IC is a broad subject. If you think it would be easier to entice your colleagues into a more focused discussion of an aspect of IC, please feel free to start a group--and invite the people around the world that should be part of that discussion.

Also, please note that it is possible to create a group for a geographic area and (I believe) set a language for that group. If you are interested in this, let us know and we can support you in setting this up.
Twitter

On your profile page, you have the opportunity to link your ICKC page with Twitter. Once you turn on this link, when you make any new post or comment on the Knowledge Center, you will have the opportunity (a little check box) to have a link to the post published on Twitter.

This is a great way to get more attention to your writings here!

Please share your experience with this!
