Reshaping business and the world by leveraging knowledge intangibles

Just found the site for the COINVEST project, funded by the European Commission. It is full of interesting data about intangibles investment. Most is at the macro level but some of the presentations at their March conference in Lisbon also broke down investments at the firm level (Hulten, Jaeger and Hao looked at the market vs. book value question).

I was surprised that this group's conference was just ten days before ECIC 2010, also held in Lisbon.  It feels like both groups would benefit from each other. Are we working in parallel on different aspects of the same set of questions?

Thanks for sharing info about this project Mary. I just browsed through their site and it appears that a lot of good research work is happening in this project, although the direction of that research will surely be dictated by the source of funding.
