Reshaping business and the world by leveraging knowledge intangibles
There are quite many statistics on trade and commerce on various goods. However, I do not recall to have seen any on the trade / commerce of "virtual goods". There is something from the development of the gaming industry, or the trade of virtual castles or figures from virtual games. But nothing, as I recall, on the development of virtual goods in itself, or compared to "normal" goods.
Any help out there?
br, Thomas
Thomas-
This was the topic of discussion at the recent Future of Money conference (lots of people from gaming there). Most of the panels were truly discussions with no powerpoints--made for a great conference but harder to access the info. But you can get a number of sources by looking at:

The reason for my asking is, that we are contemplating starting a project looking at the future development of intangible (or virtual) value in virtual surroundings. Trying do develop scenarios for how this could develop and what the implications would be.
Sounds interesting Thomas. Please feel free to share thoughts. If you want to create a space for hosting a conversation on the ICKC, let me know. We are looking at supporting a number of new projects in the coming year.
Another couple ICKC members that are working in related spaces are Dan Robles and Jay Deragon.
