Hello Bruno,

Thank you for your comments, advice and direction to the European Digital Agenda for Europe site – the development is quite positive and exciting.  As an aside, I noted with interest Action 14 of the list of planned actions (ADR) that I feel has the potential to extend beyond e-commerce to other social harmonisation/connection/integrative strategies.

I did pick up on the paper’s emphasis upon overcoming structural holes and the role of social capital in this endeavour - though perhaps I was wondering aloud if the investment and importance in this area of developing/maintaining social capital is not overshadowed by economic and technology considerations, given their interdependent nature – sparking an inquiry that perhaps a stronger acceptance of the role of social sciences in IC development is warranted, given the knowledge economy is by default, also the relational economy?

I am particularly interested in the focus upon how to organise innovation systems in living labs (and probably aligned to the purpose of the recent call for interest in the concept of collaborative IC projects via ICKC) and can clearly see why this would be regarded as structural capital.

Again, thank you for taking the time to respond and advise – your comments have been most helpful and appreciated.  I look forward to following your work and European Digital Agenda further where possible.

Kind Regards, Peter
