Dear Muhammad and forum members, Let me first admire your challenge taking on board a PhD in IC. Didn't even know that existed already, so maybe you can share the group a bit about this. Mary gives a very good introduction on how to go about or ev…

Thanks for your insights Andrea, And yes to a large extend I agree with you. But then I hear Baruch Lev speaking in Beijing about his +20 years engagement in the IC arena. Probably because he noticed new energy coming on board of the IC world is his…

Fully agree with you Mary, I suggest we rewrite that report :) While knowledge encompasses the corporation and covers the extended enterprise, IC at least covers the entire internal shop. But even IC has quite some armlengths outside of the corpora…

Hi Andrea, The subject is spot on and so do the questions. But these are too much questions to ask in one go. Mary is looking into creating groups on the site and I believe we then have to pose these questions one by one and tickle the responses.…

What is your interest in IC?
AREOPA is a knowlege provider, with one of our ECO zones focusing on Intellectual Capital Calculation and Accounting. We are the world's pioneer in bringing IC to market with proven solutions. We have the formulas (77 covering all the intangible phenomena) and we integrate ICcalculation results in the traditional accounting reporting - in the same way traditional balance sheets and P&L statements are reflected.

My interest in joining ICKC is to share and learn more from the communities and people engaged in improving, implementing or having an interest in the practicum and potentials of intellectual capital.

Hi Joris - thanks for you note to me. I completely agree with everything you wrote re: social. My view is that 'social' is receiving all/most of the attention right now but that it is just one component of the intangibles that need to be addressed in organizations. By shelf-life I mean that I think the hype will die down a bit and hopefully create room for all intangibles to receive the attention they deserve.
Cheers,

Jacob
